Ian Wilson

Rhythm guitar, acoustic guitars and vocals

Ian Wilson was involved with the band Gyro, with Paul Young. He and Paul joined forces with some guys who had been working with the Mandalaband.

Ian became a hugely important part of the band that was formed from that amalgamation – Sad Café.

Along with Paul he is the only member of the band to have played with the band in all its incarnations.

In 2001, he joined Barclay James Harvest Featuring Les Holroyd and appeared on their excellent studio album, Revolution Days, as well as some live albums. In 2009, his time with BJH came to an end and he joined the Sad Café musicians in the studio in Sweden to work on Paul’s vocal tracks for what become the Chronicles album.
